Bridge / command room interior of my Spelljammer Whaleship.
The things hanging from the ceiling area are viewscopes for the crew
Starboard fore: Navigation. Tells the captain / commander what heading they're on. Advises course corrections
Port Fore: Helm, usually crewed by a mage or cleric, who can increase the speed of the craft. My best friend / DM (Dungeon master) Explained it as - Multiply the base speed of the ship times the level of the mage. 180 feet per minute times the mage's level. A 10th Level Mage can make the ship travel 1800 feet a minute.
Conventional water-based speed is augmented by a crew of downtrodden C-3PO-like copper automatons and their taskmaster Blackwheels, a steampunk R2-D2 with an eyepatch and a whip.
Starboard aft: Magical defenses, crewed by Mage or wizard, casts defensive spells for protection, or magical counter-attacks
Port Aft: Intership communications, relays orders for the commanders usinng steampunk intercom
Center: Captain. Backup helm
Aft center: Tactical, controls conventional weaponry.
The area behind the intership communications is the restroom and a small `holographic' map that shows their current position, kind of magical GPS, projected by the same means as the viewscreen, a projection.
