El Al Flight 1862 was a Boeing 747-200 cargo plane flying to Tel Aviv-Yafo from Amsterdam in 1992. Just minutes after takeoff, the inboard engine on the right wing broke off and hit the outer engine on the right wing, breaking it off as well. The pilots came close to landing, but the 747 rolled over and crashed into the Biljmermeer apartment building in the Zuidoost neighborhood of Amsterdam. All 4 occupants on the 747 died, as well as 39 people on the ground.
