Thevetia peruviana, Cascabela thevetia also known as Thevetia neriifolia native plants from south america. Named after the French monk, André Thevet (1502-1592) who is credited with 'discovering' the plant during his travels in South America. Evergreen tree, with yellow flower. Close relative to nerium oleander, with the same characteristic as olender, toxic. Known also a lucky nut tree, you are lucky if you can stand still after eating the nuts, it's a poisonous tree. Beautiful yet deadly. All parts of the plant are toxic if eaten, particularly the fruit and seeds. Even tough is's toxic plants it has luxuriant tropical effect, long-lasting color, good buffer against hot walls, patios, entryways, and low maintenance yellow blossoming tree.
