N16074 was the third aircraft delivered to Lego Airlines in the first batch of the new 747-400's. N16074 first flew with Lego Airlines in Late October of 1989. It was painted into the 1971 Blue Bird Livery that was first featured on the DC-10-10 in the early 70's. By 1989 Lego Airlines had retired and welcomed some new aircraft into it's fleet. Aircraft retired, Boeing 707-200, Boeing 747-100, Douglas DC-8-20, Douglas DC-8-30, Douglas DC-9-20, and the Lockheed L-188. Aircraft introduced to Lego Airlines were the, Airbus A300-600B4, Boeing 737-300, Boeing 737-500, Boeing 747-400, Boeing 757-200, Douglas DC-9-30, and the McDonnell Douglas MD-88. By the end of 1989 Lego Airlines had recieved six boeing 747-400's and by the offical retirement of the Boeing 747-200 Lego Airlines had 18 in total. Also the customer code for Lego Airlines if you note is L7. N16074 still remains in service with Decknar Airlines and is proudly sporting the new Strawberries livery or the airlines.
