This was designed to be affordable and easy to build. It fits a twin sized bed in a small room with a high ceiling. The model is based on standard 2x4's surface planed and routed with a common ogee bit.
The model elements are grouped by solid parts for assembly and moving. There is room to add one more step. The desk area can be moved towards the head of the bed because you may not have the same window issue. There is a wider verticle board up by the head of the bed that might hold a shelf... Woodworking plans are meat to be changed!
