A wifi dome on a 727? I'd say thats a first. The 727's in the Decknar fleet are going strong and are currently being modernized as we speak. A complete new Boeing Sky Interior, comfy leather seats for all classes, wifi avalible for all passengers. Seat back TV's. And a slightly modernized cockpit. A more updated autopilot, and such. Other than that everything is still the same, even the Engineers panel, and yes we still have the Third Man up in our 727's. As it stands the 727's retirement is set for 2021 or somewheres around that ballpark. This 727, N20272 is the oldest 727 in operation. It has logged roughly 328,692 hours in it's life span. Assuming the aircraft serves 20-22 Hours out of the day. Median number being 21 multiply that by 7 days. 147 hours a week. 52 weeks in the year. 147 times 52 is 7,644. This 727 was delivered to Lego Airlines in 1971. It's 43 years old so 43 times 7,644 is 328,692. Wow I just turned this into a math lesson O.O anyhow this aircraft has agged rather well due to our top notch mechanics that help the aged girl continue to serve. Though the it costs alittle more to keep all 55 running, it's all worth it in the end. Anyways big thanks to 707 for the 727. Thanks and enjoy! ©2014 Boeingfan727 #727 #727200 #7272L7 #BlueJay #Boeing #Boeing_727 #Boeing_727200 #Boeing_7272L7 #Decknar_Airlines #N20272
