This Gold and Grey, 5-story, contemporary building uses glass and concrete to create comfortable & livable urban apartments, with 4 units per floor (2 two-bedroom units and 2 studio apartments), each with lots of light, balconies, and 10-foot ceilings. My goal with this design was the efficiency of space, without sacrificing comfort, and making the units feel larger with the use of light and windows; the studio units are only about 360 square feet, but would feel larger because of the large bank of windows. The studio units have build-in wall beds (Murphy beds) that fold down on top of the sofa. The unit on the top floor is a two-bedroom.
The apartment building also has 2 glass elevators. The top of the building is intended to be a common area, for the use of all tenants, and would ideally be use for urban gardening. I decided to make the stairs and elevator outdoor, with no interior common hallways.
Each unit is it’s own group, so you can hide different groups/components to view inside each unit.
Thank you to the creator of the trees, the glass elevator ( I altered it), and a few pieces of the furniture, all of which I got from the 3D warehouse. The rest I created myself.
