This is a half set of hollows and rounds molding planes designed based on guidance from William J Armour. It is speculated that Mr. Armour was a plane maker working for Moseley and Sons. The design also incorporates the blade blank specifications from Lie-Nielsen tool works. The sizing for the planes match British numbering where the width in 1/16ths indicates the number, ie. a number 4 plane would be 1/4 in wide. This numbering holds true up through a number 12 which is 3/4 in wide. Above number 12, the numbers increment by 1/8 in. A number 18 is 1 1/2 in wide.
