Lit Torch set in a Wall-Sconce

Lit Torch set in a Wall-Sconce

Tim
Had a need to draw a sconce, then added the torch for reference, then added the translucent-yellow flames (made one side of the flames, applied texture, then went through the 'Hide' of all lines associated with the flame leaving only surface visible; rotated the flame 5-degree, made it a group; rotated than group 360-degree, duplicating the shape a total of twelve times (12/); exploded the resulting shapes; and selected all of the flame-shapes and made them a New-Group, then Component. The result is the flames influenced shape you see atop my torch... Easier than I thought! ;-) Turned out to require a few SCALE'd tweaks for length and widths, but once done, it looks good (even if I am saying so myself!) Cheers! Enjoy and let me know if you 'LIKE' this model or the instructions I used to construct it. Use as required! I do like people downloading and using these models as it validates why I do all this! #Flames #Flaming_Torch #Flaming_Wall_Torch #Sconce #Torch #Torch_in_Sconce #Wall_Sconce #Wall_Torch
