Designed as a rest area for hikers at Driskill Mountain, Louisiana, the glass facade allows visitors to view the scenery in the study area, while translucent glass creates privacy in the rest area and blocks direct sunlight. The shelter's shape is ba sed on a tent, and designed to help redirect the flow of running water away from the building's foundation piers. A gap in the roof helps with ventilation.
