Jack Clark - JC3D Studio
This antenna, located at the National Electronics Museum, in Linthicum, Md. is a 1943 production version of the radar that tracked the incoming raid of Japanese planes on Oahu, Hawaii on December 7, 1941. It was part of a mobile radar system that could track aircraft at 125 miles. This unit was donated by the Institute of Space and Atmospheric Studies, University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Canada. NOTE: A very detailed and accurate model of the SCR 270-B (the actual Pearl Harbor radar) can be viewed and downloaded at: http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=94acc1fc07aa2bb5c694ab17e19c997d&ct=mdrm #1941 #day_of_infamy #early_warning #Hawaii #Japanese_attack #mobile_radar #Oahu #Pearl_Harbor #radar #WWII
