George Nelson Coconut Chair

George Nelson Coconut Chair

Koorevaar Design
Description
George Nelson Coconut Chair. This chair is typical of 1950s design and is distinguished by formal clarity and the fact that it uses a minimum of materials. Nelson himself compared it to a coconut cut up into eight sections. The Coconut Chair, however, reverses the colours: The outer plastic seat shell is white and the one-piece upholstery is available in different colours.
