Description
Ex Southwest Airlines Boeing 727 serving with St Louis Express. This 727-200 is one of ten 727-200's serving with the airline. This aircraft registered N121SL was the first restored aircraft to serve with the airline. Its the backbone of our fleet alongside the 737-300. The logo was by far the hardest thing to paint onto the aircraft. Because its such a weird tail the logo along with the airline name had to be kindof done a little differently from the rest of the fleet. A personal favorite aircraft in the fleet we hope to get some great years out of this plane. A few hiccups will find this plane frequinting the maintence hangers, most of which are minor things. Most notably was STL2394. Aircraft was enroute from STL to Reno NV. Over Kansas City it ran into a supercell thunderstorm. The aircraft was severly damaged by hail, also causing engine 1 to flame out. The wings iced and fell from FL280 to 18000 feet. The plane made an emergency landing in MCI. Big thanks to AirplaneNerd777, AirbusA330 and Maberick Rocha for the template! Finally an amazing 727-200!!! Now I need a 100 and a freighter XD.
