Mevlevihane Tekke camii

Built in 1638 by the sancak beyi Mustafa Ağa, the mosque of Tekke complex consists by the mosque, the dervishs lodges, room of the Sheik and a fountain. In 1901 and 1903, the complex is a victim of two fires, and we learn in the city's registers that it were restored twice by the Sheik Mehmet Münip Efendi, son of the Sheik Feyzullah. It was recently restored by the Regional department of fondations and became Gaziantep Mevlevihanesi Vakıf Müzesi. #antep #gaziantep #kara
