Description
The Havnelageret building in Oslo was built between 1916-1920 and was then the first fully made reinforced concrete building in Norway. The architect was Bredo Berntsen and it measures almost 40 000 m2 and it was originally 10 floors high. A complete 3D model for this and other buildings in the area was first made by Vianova in 1998 and was based on the original construction drawings from Oslo municipally administration archives. Baezeni has made a simplified version based on this model and as well updated the back side that was not a part of the original building. Originally the building was a huge storage center for the Oslo harbor activities but in 1983 the building was renovated and established as a modern and attractive office center. #office_building #Oslo_City_Building #Oslo_Harbor
