Update June 12: I would recommend cross boards to strengthen the base. Working fine for me so far but much better with the supports strengthened. I put in a shop vac and rock wool sound insulation with plywood on the outside. MAJOR difference in sound now. so much lower.
Note: This is my very first attempt to create anything in SketchUp. There will likely be errors please remember, Measure twice cut once.
Open walls reflect drywall and or plywood to be added inside/outside .
Front door will have drywall and insulation added. Not shown in drawing.
Stone wool as sound insulation was my objective.
Bottom base will house shop vac with sound proofing, enclose with doors as appropriate or necessary. Not shown in drawing.
Shatterproof PlexiGlass 18x24 will be recessed into back of door. For additional strength and safety plexiglass could be reassessed into the front as well for double sided guard.
Door is half 2x4 to save on weight, but base would handle a full 2x4 built door. 2x4 wood to be used.
Side computer table could be added easily to house laptop and monitor. Or on top.
Drywall is not setup perfectly
Feedback appreciated Thanks
