The Uspensky Cathedral (Cathedral of the Dormition) is the largest cathedral in the Kiev Pechersk Lavra (Monastery of the Caves), Kiev, Ukraine. Begun in 1073 and heavily restored in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, the Uspensky Cathedral was blown up during World War II and completely rebuilt between 1998 and 2000.
