Aerial Steam Carriage

Aerial Steam Carriage

Sketchycat
This early plane was created, but unbuilt in 1843. It was a steam engine plane created by William Samuel Henson. It was designed to accomodate 1 crew to fly it, passengers, and cargo and made to fly intercontinental. The plane was flyable, but not in the 1800s because the steam engines in the day were too heavy and not powerful enough. It remains unbuilt because Henson was unable to raise enough cash, he abandoned the project. #aviation #early #elevator #elvons #engine #fuselage #nick #pilot #plane #rudder #sketchycat #window #wing #wings
