Construction of the building originally named Alumni Hall started in 1904. It was halted in 1905 due to funding until LaVerne Noyes donated the money to Iowa State University to finish the building on the terms that it would be named Alumni Hall, would be open to all students, and that the Alumni Association could use it. The building was originally ISUs only indoor swimming pool until 1914 when State Gymnasium was built. In the early 1920s the building was the College Inn and restaurant until the Memorial Union was built in 1928. On November 16, 1979 Alumni Hall was added to the National Register of Historic Places and was remodeled in 1987 for $2.1 million. Currently the building houses Admissions, Orientation, and Records and registration. The building was renamed Enrollment Services Center on August 25, 2008 due the change in use and the building of the new Alumni Center on Beach Ave. The model was completed by Benjamin Schwartz. #Admission #Records_and_Registration
