Tampa Bay Thunder Dome

Tampa Bay Thunder Dome

Joseph G.
Home of the Rays, and Bucaneers. Originally named Microsoft Stadium. It has a capacity of 45, 000 for baseball, 78,000 for Football. The roof can retract. Each glass panel is on an automated track. You simply flip a switch and they roll into the metal sections of the roof leaving the center open. Box seats are located on the field instead of being in the seating arrangement, making the capacity larger. VIP's/Box seats are located on the side of the field for football/soccer, and along right above the dugout for baseball. Stadium is revolutionary. For the rays it's better than the tropicana because the roof is much higher. For the bucs it's better because it is a better football experience due to the fact the stadium was designed to keep in sound, not let it out. It is designed to reflect sounds back at the fans. Making it almost 2x louder than a normal fooball game.
