'84 Solenne Quarante GT 4.2

This is not a very detailed model as I am going to use this in a top down game, but here it is. Made with 70's fastback base from Leon. As for the fake history, here it is. Solenne released the Quarante back in 1984 with the intention for having an entry-level hatchback added onto their own lineup. The design was rather unique and classic, remembered by many up to this day. The base model featured a 2.0 SOHC 8-valve carbureted inline-4 which produced 98 hp. It wasn't very powerful, but it was cleverly design, with cheap needle valves which allowed sufficient air flow to prevent overheating and aluminium pistons made for an uniquely light engine for the time. The more powerful 2.8 SOHC carbureted 8-valve inline-4 which produced 156 hp was used in the S model, and the even more powerful 3.2 SOHC single-point fuel injection 12-valve inline-6 which produced 194 hp was used in the RS model. The S had more comfort-oriented goodies (leather seats, casette player, etc.) while the RS had everything from the S plus performance-oriented goodies (stiffer anti-roll bars, dual exhaust, etc.). The GT had a 4.2 SOHC single-point fuel-injected 16-valve V8 which produced 241 hp. In order to allow more airflow, the valve was a gate valve design instead. They can be find on Ebay for $3000-12800 dollars for each model. #1984 #car #fastback #gt #hatchback #quarante #solenne #sports
