The castle of Buren was one of the biggest of the Netherlands but it was demolished in the 19th century. it was the house of the count of Buren but when the Oranjes became the ruler's of buren it wasnt occupied as much as it used to.
The model is based on paintings and measurements of google earth, but the only part remaining is the earth wall around the two main buildings so this is very difficult and I don't now if I made the buildings large enough.
This is only the Front-gate (voorpoort) & The outer-stronghold (voorburcht).
