Constructed in 1976 the Bicentennial Library located at 4th and F Street serves the public by delivering information, books in English and Spanish, videos and CDs, and community programming to the City's residents nearly every day of the year. The Civic Center Branch Library offers full library services in English and Spanish seven days per week. Patrons can browse through over 235,000 volumes of books at this location, and have access to approximatly 190,000 volumes available at the South Chula Vista Branch Library and the EastLake Library locations.
