The Oscar E. Henry Customs House is located on the Frederiksted Waterfront in Frederiksted, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. The building was constructed in the 1800s. Located in front of the Customs House is the Freedom Fountain, which was installed for the Emancipation 150th anniversary celebration. The Fountain displays the bust of Moses Gottlieb, also known as General Buddha, who was instrumental in the island’s emancipation efforts. #Caribbean #Frederiksted #Historical #StCroix #VirginIslands
