The Albert R. Broccoli 007 Stage is one of the largest in the world. It is located at Pinewood Studios, Iver Heath, Buckinghamshire, England, and named after the famous James Bond film producer Albert R. "Cubby" Broccoli. It was first built in 1977 to house the filming of the Bond film You Only Live Twice, it held the Liparus super tanker set and the water tank was large enough to hold three submarines. The Stage burnt to the ground in 1984 after gasoline canisters exploded. It was rebuilt 4 months later in time for filming on A View to a Kill (1985). Another fire occurred on 30 July 2006 and the stage had to be demolished in September of that year. A new redesigned stage was constructed and opened in March 2007. Stage size 5,481 sq m Stage dimensions 114m L x 48m W x 12m H (to rig).
