Formerly known as Woodward Field, Roos Field is home to the Eastern Washington Eagles of the Big Sky Conference in Division I (FCS). In the summer of 2010, red Sprinturf was added, and the field dubbed the "Inferno". A record crowd of 11,702 in September 2010 watched EWU defeat conference rival Montana. EWU went on to win the 2010 Division I FCS National Championship.
EWU is undefeated on the Inferno going into the 2011 season.
This model is an expansion concept, which would increase current capacity of Roos FIeld to 16,000 by adding seating to the South end zone and increasing the size of the east stand. #Big_Sky_Conference #Eastern_Washington_University #Football #NCAA #Roos_Field #The_Inferno
