Description
Created entirely in Building Maker during boring phone meetings at work. Opened to traffic on February 22, 1932, the George Washington Memorial Bridge (commonly called the Aurora Bridge) is a cantilever and truss bridge that carries Aurora Avenue N. (State Route 99) over the Lake Union between Queen Anne and Fremont. It is 2,945 ft long, 70 ft wide, and 167 ft above the water. On the northern end of the Bridge, in Fremont, as the bridge meets the earth, is The Troll- a mixed media colossal statue of a troll clutching an actual Volkswagen Beetle. #art #bridge #troll
