Hudson Valley chest of drawers

davidheim
This piece was featured in the July/August 2017 issue of Fine Woodworking magazine. Mario Rodriguez, a noted Philadelphia cabinet-maker, built an adaptation of the chest after seeing the original at Eleanor Roosevelt's home in New York. The original, made of pine, was built at Val-Kill Industries, an enterprise that Roosevelt established in 1926. Rodriguez made his from mahogany and pine. The model is fully detailed, with all joinery. #chest #chest_of_drawers #Hudson_Valley_chest_of_drawers #Mario_Rodriguez
