Wood Star Mosaic - Update
Offered with best of intentions
Updated for 3mm space between parts.
I took the original mosaic and used the offset tool to shrink each part by 1.5mm
All 16 outside pieces placed back together shows each had a small overlap.
You can print the 3mm space version.
Then use blade and ruler to cut just outside the lines.
Then glue to oversized part and shape with mitre saw.
Mitre saw with laser certainly helps.
I've included angles to help make the process easier.
Or print and glue the full 3mm version to one 12.5" x 26.5" sheet and have kerf lines to cut by.
Best to get it set perfectly square to sheet so you can use the sides to measure angles.
Use a sliding square and align the sheet to the cut lines on the paper.
I created a printer page size of A0 first.
Then set the document to A0.
Then printed to PDF file.
Then took the PDF file to printers and asked them to print to scale.
I have my PDF file. Just ask.
