The projects consists of 5,000 hotel rooms, along with 250,000 sq ft (23,000 m²). of casino space. The tower would be built on Las Vegas Boulevard on the former site of the Wet n' Wild Water Park. The building's architect is the renowned architectural firm Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill. As part of the agreement, the project was renamed Crown Las Vegas. The cost of the project has been estimated at $5 billion and is expected to be completed by 2012.
