Dionysus was the god of revelry and wine. Where most gods gained worshippers through admiration of their deeds, or fear of what would happen if they didn't - Dionysus was said to leave worshippers in a mindless euphoria that led them to follow him about the land, constantly dancing and singing. #drunken_revelry #god
