The Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre (formerly UBC Winter Sports Centre, also known as UBC Thunderbird Arena) is an indoor arena located in the University Endowment Lands, just outside of the city limits of Vancouver, British Columbia, on the campus of the University of British Columbia. It is home to the UBC Thunderbirds men's and women's ice hockey teams. The arena, which features a 7,200-seat main ice rink along with two other rinks with capacities of 980 and 200, will be used for men's and women's ice hockey at the 2010 Winter Olympics and sledge hockey in the 2010 Winter Paralympics.
