BSI Headoffices

Banca BSI
Constructed by the architect Bruno Bossi in the 1930s, the building originally housed apartments and Lugano's well-known Portici café. It was purchased by BSI's Fondazione di Previdenza del Personale in 1983. After this it was refurbished several times, until its structure and front were completely renovated by the architect Giampiero Camponovo. Today the BSI building houses offices, rooms for meeting clients and guest quarters, and is characterised by site-specific works of art created especially for the spaces of the new building by artists such as John Armleder, Robert Barry, Daniel Buren and Liam Gillick #Bank #Swiss_Architecture
