Izod Center

Reilly C.
The Izod Center (formerly Brendan Byrne Arena and Continental Airlines Arena) is a multi-purpose indoor arena in the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey, United States. The Izod Center currently has a maximum seating capacity of 20,000. Opened in 1981, the arena was formerly home to the New Jersey Nets of the National Basketball Association and the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League. After the Nets left in 2010, the arena is used exclusively as a venue for concerts. The arena attracts spectators and fans from New Jersey and the New York metropolitan area. Because of the history of name changes, the arena is often referred to simply as the Meadowlands Arena. #Arena #Arenas #Basketball #Brendan_Byrne_Arena #Concerts #Continental_Airlines_Arena #Devils #Hockey #Izod_Center #Meadowlands #Meadowlands_Arena #Meadowlands_Sports #Meadowlands_Sports_Complex #Nets #New_Jersey #New_Jersey_Devils #New_Jersey_Nets #New_York #New_York_City
