Trimble Hills MTA New Flyer XDE40 "Speed" Bus

MДTT, TЯIMBLΣ HILLS CØP
THMTA Speed (operating as route #987) is a bus rapid transit route operated by the Trimble Hills Metro Transit Authority along I-87. Speed operates between the Loomis Green Line subway station and the Warner Forest outlet mall in Nashua Park. It currently runs in it's own right-of-way in the freeway's median every eight minutes during weekday rush hours. The service was launched as Georgia's first BRT system on July 3, 2013. Construction began in September 2010 after a decade of planning. Between January 5 and October 1, 2012, people could vote on THMTA's website from the following names: "THMTA Roadrunner", "THMTA Speed", "THMTA Extreme" and "THMTA Bullet". On October 20, 2012, the THMTA announced that the service would be named "THMTA Speed" since it had the most votes. On December 31, 2012, the logo and livery were revealed. Speed operates much like the express route #87 it replaced. Unlike #87, Speed does not continue on into downtown Trimble Hills. Shown here is one of the about 30 hybrid New Flyer XDE40s operating the service. Credit is given to the people whose models I've used in this model. Special thanks to Msg for the original bus. Feel free to use this in your models, but please do not re-upload this and claim that you made it, that model will be reported to Trimble if it is done. #BRT #bus #bus_rapid_transit #commute #Forest #I87 #Interstate_87 #Loomis #Nashua #Nashua_Park #New_Flyer #Park #rapid #rapid_transit #transportation #Trimble_Hills #Warner #Warner_Forest #XDE40
