Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church

Caleb
The Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church was established in 2002. It is located in Danville across from Constitution Square. Looking at a top view of the building, you may notice that is in the shape of a cross. There is something called The Three Natural Laws of Church Architecture. One is durability, one is verticality, and the last is iconography, which is visual art. Churches must have religious symbols of faith and Catholicism. One way that Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church represents this law is through architecture. The symbol of the cross signifies consecration and Jesus Christ. This building, of course, is used for mass. But, many groups use its back building. For example, the church holds Fish Fry’s on Friday during the Lent Season. Also, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Music Groups, the church’s own youth group, and many other groups use the building for specific activities. -Modeled by Celeste Fieberg. #bate_middle_school #church #constitution_square #danville #engineering_plus #kentucky
