The Philadelphia Inquirer newspaper was found by John R. Walker and John Norvell in 1829. It is the third oldest newspaper daily newspaper in the United States and has won 18 Pulitzer Prizes. The 104m/340ft, white clock tower was completed in 1924 by Rankin, Kellogg & Crane. It remains one of the tallest and most prominent buildings on North Broad in Philadelphia.
