Pend Oreille County Historical Museum

g.morton@comcast.net
Built in 1908 as the Newport, WA depot for the Idaho & Washington Northern railroad, this building now houses the Pend Oreille County Historical Museum. The museum exhibits many pioneer artifacts and materials, including farm implements, household items, railroad equipment including a Great Northern caboose, and three log cabins removed from their original locations in the woods and reconstructed on the museum grounds. The model is geo-located and viewable in Google Earth. The 3D Warehouse version of the KMZ may not load in GE, however. Download the SKP and export it yourself to KMZ. That version will load. #depot #museum #Pend_Oreille #pioneer
