Designed by Diego Rodríguez Romano From: Alajuela, Costa Rica Shelter location: Costa Rica Date submitted: August 25, 2009 Selu, Bribri dialect word (native Costa Ricans), which means harmony. Located in the tropical rain forests. Built with European and Native systems, creating a dialectic between both since they are our cultural heritage. Cob and Wood walls, roof of Suita (palm), doors and sun visors with semi-permeable enclosures made of reeds. Non-industrial materials were used as living according to their life cycle using fewer resources and are easily recoverable.
