Description
The industrial revelution is at its peak and more and more people are coming to watch bridgewater play. However, 'Town' now have some new rivals, in th form of 'Bridgewater Athletic', who play at Bridgewater road. They were formed in 1910 and everyone in town now supports town or athletic. A new wooden main stand is built on the 'Town' side but no further developments on the 'Park' (clubhouse) side. A new concrete terrance was built at the new end, and the wooden terrance at the station end is used for away fans. Oh, and the social club has been demolished. Th club have decided not to adopt the usual 'oval' style for 3 reasons, lack of funds, lack of space and lack of significant attendances. #1900s #1905 #1910 #1912 #bridgewater #london #new #park #river #roead #rovers #town
