Description
The so-called "Laithe-House" is a type of house found in the West Riding of Yorkshire, especially in the area around Halifax / Huddersfield. It consists of a living part, usually with one room at the ground floor and one or two upper chambers, and a combined barn and byre, called "Laithe".
