216 Mackenzie Ave This building was built in 1939 to house both the city offices and the fire department. It was designed by the well known architect C.B.K. Van Norman. This architectural structure is well recognized as one of the earliest in the Art Moderne style built outside of a major city and is one of the architect's finest works.
