With the Dread Master's return from imprisonment and subsequent betrayal the Empire branded all of the original Dread Guard traitors. With their influence lost there was no longer a voice within the Empire to advocate for Celanon's people.
The Celanon Assembly reached an agreement with Hue and Ytriumm to fake their deaths-- hunting them down and destroying the Knave of Nalros to complete the deception.
With the Nalroni military's loyalty proven and Ytriumm's pursuers pacified by her 'death' both parties benefited.
Work had began earlier in the year on a suitable replacement to the Knave, which had already had several close-calls throughout the Great Galactic War. The upgraded 'Knight of Nalros', as it was called, was left unfinished at a D'Astan Crime Syndicate safehouse on Celanon's northern continent.
The new 'Knight of Nalros' was significantly larger, bulkier, far more heavily shielded and far more deadly. The Knight sported a number of Nalroni-Sith collaborative technologies. Primarily these included the 'Ion-laced Turbolaser' and the 'Shield Lances'. The former was a high-powered Turbolaser which charged each round with a high degree of ion particles. These particles would penetrate shields much better than standard blaster bolts. The latter, the 'shield lances', were shield projectors which were able to focus their protective bubble into spear-like weapons which would tear through unshielded targets with kinetic shearing forces rather than explosive energy. These 'shield lances' could also be used to direct the Knight's own shields to focus their protective efforts on any specific area of the ship.
The Knight of Nalros, however, was severely compromised in terms of maneuverability and carrying capacity. The Knight relied solely on its shields, CIWS, and blistering sublight speed to break blockades and escape it's foes.
It's first trial by fire was the exfiltration of Dread Guard officers from Sembla.
