This building was constructed by Croatian architect Vjenceslav Richter, to be used as a museum of revolution of Yugoslav people in 1961, the construction works were stopped in the late 1970’s because of the ideological decline of communist society. Today it is an empty underground building inhabited with homeless people, and of unknown origin for the most citizens of Belgrade. The “Museum” is located in park Usce not far from the monument “Vecna Vatra” (Internal Flame) one of the last (if not the last one) socialistic monuments in Yugoslavia. #communism #museum #New_Belgrade #revolution #Richter #unfinished #Vjenceslav
