Move current switching from one or more of the troublesome onboard surface mount MOSFETs to inexpensive and easy to replace external MOSFET modules with large heat sinks. Optionally remove and bypass onboard MOSFETs and route signal(s) to external module(s) (by soldering wire to controller, routing to module, and adding or replacing resistor on module to allow switching at logic level instead of 12-24V DC). Support attaches behind display and provides just enough clearance to reinstall the bottom cover. Cut from steel on CNC plasma table but could probably be 3D printed with suitable modifications. Model imported to SU from a CAD application. In use here as an alternative to repeatedly replacing surface mount MOSFETS or (most often) to rescue controller boards after someone's efforts with a soldering iron.
