The only Deemed university of Fisheries in India. It is basically a research Institute, located off Yari Road, Versova, Mumbai. The site consists of a Main Academic Block, A Library, Student Hostels, Staff Quarters and the Director's Bungalow. The Site surroundings consist the Residential area and also the Mangroves. The fisher community is close to the area. It is just 500 m away from the sea shore. The library is a huge repository of books on Fisheries and other general knowledge.
