Description
Central recieved it's first MD-11 aircraft. Ship 200 (shown here), in mid 1991. The familiar Central Globeliner scheme (1968-1992) was short lived on the MD-11 however, and the remaining ships, along with Ship 200 and Ship 201 were repainted in February 1992 into a less attractive 90s business livery. The MD-11s served Central's fleet until 2007, when all were replaced by 10 777-200LR aircraft. Central Cargo Lines also operated 6 MD-11F aircraft, until 2011, when all were replaced by 777-200F aircraft. Ship 200, being an interesting exception, was restored to it's original 1991 specifications and put on display at the Central Air Lines Transportation Heritage Museum. #200 #Air #Boeing #Central #Douglas #Lines #McDonnell #MD11 #N200CL #Ship
