This is a boxcar home. I was sort of inspired by the Boxcar Children. It is a series of children's books from the early to mid 20th century. The 4 main characters are orphans who live alone in an old boxcar until they are eventually taken in by their grandfather who has been searching for them. I thought that it would be interesting to create an actual house inside of a boxcar. It has a bedroom with a set of bunkbeds and some dressers. There is a nice sized kitchen with all of the needed amenities (and room for more). There is a 6 person dining table. I added a large sofa, a woodstove, and a bookshelf. There is also a large bathroom with 2 sinks and separate rooms for the toilet and bathtub. If needed, it is possible to add a shower head.
