first 3d photo to 3dmodel attempt 1... For those who have asked how this was done If you take a stereoscopic image with a 3d camera or two photos along side eachother with a normal camera. You can use a piece of software that is free called Agisoft Stereoscan either load the mpo....or the two jpgs and it will try it's best at calculating or triangulating the similar points. you can then save as a 3ds file and import. (the photo texture is already projected) If you take enough photos and get the dimensioning right for parallax it is a pretty good starting point for modelling real life objects from photos. It's quite similar to Boujou or photosynth/geosynth
