Siddely Falcon 110A

Siddely Falcon 110A

Jack G.
A ground attack aircraft of considerable repute from 1942 to 1944, this German Jet-powered aircraft was the scourge of the skies over the Eastern front. It excelled at anti-tank warfare and providing ground support. Although it integrated several revolutionary technologies, such as a vertical lift turbine that gave the 110 STOL capabilities, this aircraft was never able to be produced in large numbers due to the complexity of its design and scarcity of necessary construction materials. Fifty three of them were siezed by the USSR folowing the end of the second world war.
